These fine silver Hemiptera/stink bug earrings are chased and repoussé and then backed with Argentium silver. The earrings hang from an Argentium French wire attached to the antenna of each bug. Brightly polished areas are highlighted by the textured chased wings. This line of Hemiptera/stink bug earrings are a small production so each may vary in size or texture.

This piece should not be worn when applying perfumes/colognes, hair spray, lotions etc. It should not be exposed to water or moisture since the sealant is a water based product. I suggest wiping the necklace with a soft, cotton cloth upon removal from your neck. Keeping the necklace in an airtight ziplock enclosure will deter patination or oxidation. This will also keep the gold leaf from being marred or scratched.
