18k yellow gold cold forged branches allow the repoussé Stag Beetle to hang from prasiolite beads strung on 18k yellow gold wire. 6 small diamonds are set into the wings of the beetle with an 8-9mm greenish colored Mississippi River freshwater pearl in its pincers. Two small gold leafed acorns hang down the back of the neck from the clasp.

This piece should not be worn when applying perfumes/colognes, hair spray, lotions etc. It should not be exposed to water or moisture since the sealant is a water based product. I suggest wiping the necklace with a soft, cotton cloth upon removal from your neck. Keeping the necklace in an airtight ziplock enclosure will deter patination or oxidation. This will also keep the gold leaf from being marred or scratched.
